Led by Rocket Matsu, Pascals is a 13-member acoustic orchestra whose sound — built from toy instruments, pianica, violin and more — brims with wit, esprit and humour, giving audiences a sense of openness like nothing else. Alongside countless concerts, the band has scored films, theatre and television, and released six studio albums (over ten including OST and live records).ロケット・マツ率いる13人編成のアコースティックオーケストラ。オモチャの楽器やピアニカ、バイオリンなどを用いたサウンドは、軽妙さとエスプリ、ユーモアにあふれ、聴く人に他にない開放感を与えます。多数のライブのほか、映画・演劇・テレビの音楽を手がけ、アルバム6枚（OST盤・ライブ盤を含めると10枚以上）をリリースしています。

Formed with songwriter Juubei Nakamura; paused after his sudden passing in 2007 and reunited in 2011 with mandolinist Shinji Takeuchi. In 2012 they premiered the Japanese-language song “Hanabi” at the ROMP festival in the USA.ソングライター中村十兵衛と結成。2007年の中村の急逝により一旦休止し、2011年に竹内信次（マンドリン）と再結成。2012年、アメリカの「ROMP」フェスティバルで日本語曲「花火」を披露しました。

A four-piece string band led by Yoshiki Sakurai — guitar, contrabass, pedal steel and banjo — with ten albums on the MIDI.inc label. Appeared at Fuji Rock Festival with Mari Nakamura.桜井芳樹主宰の4人編成ストリングスバンド（ギター、コントラバス、ペダルスチールギター、バンジョー）。MIDI.incレーベルよりアルバム10枚をリリース。中村まりとの共演でフジロックフェスティバルにも出演しました。

In 2004, Satoshi Hara gave a commemorative performance at the ceremony marking 150 years of exchange between Japan and the United States, before an audience that included Prime Minister Koizumi and many distinguished guests.2004年、日米交流150年を記念する式典で記念演奏を行いました。小泉首相をはじめ、多くの要人が列席しました。
He has also performed bluegrass at the residence of the U.S. Ambassador to Japan, at the invitation of Ambassador Baker.また、ベイカー在日米国大使のお招きにより、アメリカ大使公邸にてブルーグラスを演奏しました。

Founded in 2004 to mark 150 years since Commodore Perry’s Black Ships reached Japan in 1854. Guests have included Tony Trischka and Bill Keith, alongside a banjo contest.2004年開始。1854年のペリー黒船来航から150年を記念してスタートしました。これまでにトニー・トリシュカ、ビル・キースなどを招聘し、バンジョーコンテストも開催しています。
